About Implant Crown & Bridge
An implant crown or bridge is the prosthetic restoration that attaches to a dental implant fixture in the jaw. Jin Yuan Dental Laboratory manufactures the prosthetic component only — the crown, bridge or full-arch prosthetic that is fitted onto implants placed by your referring dentist or surgeon.
We manufacture implant prosthetics in zirconia, IPS e.max and PFM, and our restorations are compatible with all major implant systems including Nobel Biocare, Straumann, Osstem, Zimmer and others. Please specify the implant system and connection type on your prescription.
Material Options
Zirconia (recommended)
— metal-free, high strength (900+ MPa for monolithic zirconia), white colour, excellent aesthetics and biocompatibility. Suitable for anterior and posterior implant crowns.
IPS e.max
— lithium disilicate ceramic. Best aesthetics and translucency. Suitable for anterior implant crowns where appearance is the priority. Strength approximately 400 MPa.
PFM (Porcelain Fused to Metal)
— metal framework with VITA porcelain. Strongest option for multi-unit implant bridges. Good for longer spans where all-ceramic may flex.
Retention Types
Cement-retained
— crown cemented onto a prefabricated or custom abutment. Simpler lab process. Suitable when the implant position allows for a cement-retained design.
Screw-retained
— crown screwed directly onto the implant or abutment through an access channel. Retrievable. Preferred when implant position makes cement-retained difficult.

For most single implant crowns we recommend monolithic zirconia — it is metal-free, strong (900+ MPa), aesthetically good and biocompatible. For anterior crowns where maximum aesthetics are needed, IPS e.max is an excellent choice. For multi-unit implant bridges where strength is critical, PFM with a metal framework is a reliable option.
Yes. We manufacture both cement-retained and screw-retained implant restorations. For screw-retained cases, please specify the screw access hole position and ensure the implant angulation is within an acceptable range on your prescription.
Yes. We accept STL and OBJ files from all major intraoral and model scanners. Please include a scan body or implant library file if required for your implant system. Contact us to confirm compatibility before sending.
Most implant crown and bridge cases are completed within 6 working days from receipt. Complex multi-unit cases may require additional time — contact us when sending the prescription to confirm the schedule.
