Clear Aligner
CAD designed and thermoformed clear aligners — manufactured in Shenzhen, China
About Clear Aligners
Clear aligners are transparent, removable orthodontic appliances that move teeth through a series of precisely planned incremental stages. Each aligner is worn for a set period before the patient progresses to the next stage, gradually achieving the planned tooth movement.
Jin Yuan Dental Laboratory manufactures clear aligners using a fully digital workflow — from scan data to CAD treatment planning, 3D printed models, and thermoformed aligner fabrication — all in our Shenzhen facility. We supply aligners to dentists, orthodontists and dental labs as an outsourced manufacturing service.
Our Manufacturing Process
Step 1 — Receive scan data
— you send us STL files from your intraoral scanner or upload a digital model. We can also work from a physical impression which we scan in our facility.
Step 2 — Treatment planning
— our CAD team designs the sequential tooth movements using professional orthodontic design software, producing a staged treatment plan for your approval.
Step 3 — Model printing
— each stage of the treatment plan is printed as an individual 3D model using our high-precision resin printers.
Step 4 — Thermoforming
— clear aligner material is pressure-formed over each printed model, trimmed and finished to produce the final aligners.
Step 5 — Quality check and dispatch
— all aligners are checked and packaged in numbered sequence before dispatch via FedEx, DHL or UPS.

Frequently Asked Questions
Clear aligners are well-suited to mild to moderate crowding, spacing, diastema closure, mild rotations and relapse cases. They work best for anterior and premolar tooth movements. Complex skeletal cases, significant vertical problems or extensive molar movement are better managed with fixed appliances. Contact us if you are unsure whether a case is suitable.
Yes. If a patient needs additional stages after completing the initial course, we can produce refinement aligners from a new scan taken at that stage. Please send updated scan data and a prescription specifying the remaining tooth movements needed.
Yes. We have no minimum order — a single retainer for one arch is accepted. Send us a scan of the current (post-treatment) dentition and specify upper, lower or both arches. Retainers are fabricated at the same standard as treatment aligners.
After you approve the digital treatment plan, most aligner cases are completed within 6 working days. Cases with a large number of stages may take slightly longer — contact us when sending the prescription to confirm the schedule for your specific case.
